This project required the contractor to heat the soil below the existing concrete with high voltage electricity. Thus eliminating all contaminants from the soil and preventing any more pollution to be absorbed in our ground water. With this in mind, we could not use a steel post given the amount of electricity on-site. Therefore on this project, when required we used wood posts to complete this installation instead of steel.
